Our design and construction experience covers a wide variety of
shipyards and dry docks including floating docks and ‘syncrolift’
ship transfer systems. In particular, we undertook the design and
construction supervision of a major shipyard facility at Jeddah in
Saudi Arabia to accommodate two floating docks.
Another key example of our work is in Hong Kong, where we prepared
designs for a multi-berth shipyard facility, incorporating a
ship-lift of size 89m by 20m with a lift capacity of 3,400 tonnes,
as well as a ship transfer system, which has the capability to
transfer ships to 15 repair berths onshore.
